Drive, batteries and cooling must fit in a body between four wheels almost 0.7 m in diameter.
Transmission. Each motor drives a shaft through a 15.875 chain and sprockets, and from there chains go to the wheel hubs. Tension, alignment and flange bearing mounts are set in the assembly.
Geared motors. Two 48 V 1000 W BLDC motors with planetary gearboxes sit so the chains run in one plane with the sprockets.
Power and heat. Two E78 3P8S batteries, two 70 A controllers, 80 × 80 fans and an air filter: heat has to leave the body without opening it to dust.
Standard units. 235/70 R15 wheels on hubs, UCFL flange bearings, a tow ball: everything is bought in, so the mounts follow the catalogues.
