The housing had to fit a monitor that exists in no catalogue and no CAD library.
A monitor without drawings. No exact model exists online, so its geometry was taken from the client's video, photos of the manual and 3D scans: side bosses protruding 2.5 mm from the ends, the bezel split line, buttons, cable exits.
A visor that photos don't show. The monitor's plastic visor wraps the bezel, so the housing became a shroud over it with the same profile taken from a scan: a straight run, a chamfer and an R10 step, with an EPDM edge trim.
Vibration. The tilt axis runs on an M8 flange screw with a pair of Nord-Lock washers in PEM press nuts, a ball-lock pin holds the position, and the bracket bolts to the vehicle with M8 bolts, also on Nord-Lock.
Cables on a tilting unit. The cables leave the monitor downwards, so the bottom wall has two U-slots with rubber grommets, and a service loop behind the bracket foot keeps the tilt from pulling the harness.
